Greetings all.
Having recently acquired custodianship of a long desired Z4 E86 (2007 3.0 N52 Auto) with a well maintained 200k km on the clock, and wanting to learn more about them (and their foibles), I came across this forum, and tho the E86 is not a Roadster, I trust that I can join in? I certainly hope so as you look like a good one. I live in Ballarat Australia by the way.
I'll attach a pic - excuse the dusty appearance, when I take some more better photos I'll update

I do most of my own mechanical work - as well as all the cleaning and polishing - mainly because I enjoy it, and enjoy driving nice interesting cars - of which I've had a few.
I like the Z4 very much and aim to keep this one for a while. Right now I'm chasing down a "clunk", it occurs off load - onload in the drivetrain. it seems to me to be coming from around the front universal joint. I'll do a forum search and seek out other's thoughts.
Anyway, all the best with yours, I hope to see you on the road somewhere.
Ian

As we are Worldwide its a good idea to update your User details to show your location and exact model of your car so these details appear to the left of your posts or expand on your user if viewing on a phone. It assists us in answering questions and saves you typing them in each time you post a thread.
