Hi chaps.
New to your club as I speak.
Been looking for a while for something different, had a lotus 7 type, but have just bought a Z3 from heel and toe in Essex, it's a 2.0. litre with 81 thousand on the clock, been well looked after f.s.h. etc .
Just wondering if they are good engines, never owned a BMW before, so a bit of a novice. It's a six pot wide body with the m.52. engine. Year 2000. Haven't got the car yet but it's being delivered next week, can't wait. Have I made a good choice?.

Hi Jonny, welcome from me usually near Lincoln. My first Z was a 2000 2.0 too. Mine was an Auto , by choice. These motors are pretty much bullet proof with the history yours has, but, don't drive a 2.8 or a 3.0 or you will soon be looking for another Z. Trust me.

Tony.

Hi tony.
Don't think my better half would let me , I did think about 2.2s and up to 3.0. but took the financially sensible option? Just want a nice country cruiser. There's some great roads where I live in the Ribble valley.and of course you have got to keep the wife happy?.

Silver with red and black leather interior and wood trim with leather and wood steering wheel, think I might have to tone the red bits down a little, but might get used to it.
