Hi all I have just joined.

I own a 2000 z3 3.0l as pictured.

I am.looking for a towbar to tow my caravan which just so happens to match my z3 in colour
My caravan is 0nly 750kg max and had it all checked out for weights etc and had the go a head by 2 towbar specialists who sadly couldn't supply a towbar for it. so looking for somewhere I can get a towbar fitted.
Any help greatly appreciated and I look forward to following the forum.

Don't think you will find anyone manufactures a tow bar for the Z3 if anyone has fitted one I would expect that they have custom built one. If you have to go down that road it probably means you have to remove the spare wheel and its carrier from under the car to get a tow bar in. There is at...

It a shame you weren't here a year ago. I removed and skipped one.

I had one fitted by Watling Engineers in St Albans, I needed one to tow my garden trailer after I sold my E46 Compact. This was March 2022 and cost £520. They had a bit of a problem as they hadn't fitted one to a 3.0 litre before and thought I had an aftermarket exhaust but they managed it. The Z doesn't even know the trailer is there.

Hi if you look in progress threads the thread called p122yup he has bought a zed to restore and it’s fitted with a tow bar. Might be worth asking if he’s going to remove it.
