Hi Everyone,

Thought i'd introduce myself.

Newbie from Hampshire who just picked up a 2.8 and have driven 400 miles with the roof down with a massive grin on my face since.

It's not mint but should be a great base for a rolling restoration / OEM+ upgrade. Picked it up cheap from a dealer with FSH so im content there.

Needs nothing mechanically and only 80,000 miles ish since new. wobbly seats are the first fix needed and the new bushes arrived today :D then need a new rear window.

Always loved convertibles and had a few before (not BMW) and happy with the Z3 so far. Not quite as sharp as my old MX5 but when the 6pot is on song all that need goes away!!!

Easy enough to make these as sharp as the Eunos/MX5/Matia and as you say the sweet 6 pot is music. Anyway welcome from me near Lincoln.

Tony.

Hi and welcome from me in Hertfordshire another 2.8 owner. Mx5s are a nice little car, but Zs are so much better looking and as been stated can get sharper with a few mods ;)if that's what you want. Rha, Roy.
