Here’s a video I made of a trip last month with a Facebook Z4 group around the Yorkshire Dales.

I’m not very waterproof, but there were a couple of proper hardcore roadster drivers, one in a Z3 the other in a Z4, who had their roofs down nearly all day despite the rain!

Can’t beat a bit of Quo either!

Excellent ! Looks a fun drive, country roads, fellow zeds, whats not to like - the weather will be better next time - excuse to pop out again !

Nice one mate, foot tapping, head bobbing entertainment

Great vid Richard but as Mike said "too many Z4s";):D

I think the clue is in the title, Z4 Owners Group, so you could say there were too many Z3s?;):)

Tony.

Hey Mike, I think the Z3 owners definitely schooled us Z4 owners on where the roof should be that day!!!
Perhaps it just takes too long to put the roofs up on the Z3 they just couldn't be bothered

@Richard Seargent , just out of interest, what video editing suite are you using to put that together ?

Teaching myself to do that, think I can now, although I'm using kdenlive as I run on linux not windows. I can see from your transitions you are using something else, any tips tricks settings how-to's ?

@AleNod I have a MacMini and used iMovie to make my videos. I’ve only done these two so even though I’m very pleased with the end result, I’m no expert. I’m a guitarist of sorts and have used Garageband to record songs. Garageband works in a similar way to iMovie with regards to editing clip length and joining sections together so that probably gave me a head start. As with most software though, if you want to do something there’s a button to press to let you do it. I just muddled along until I found the right buttons - the Yorkshire Dales video took me all day to put together!

Well I think the results are brilliant !

I'm also just learning. I've found a few sites to pick up royalty free images, videos and music. Putting together the training videos (isnt youtube great!) only so far. Putting an underlying music clip is a good idea, I can slice and dice video, add captions and intersperse images. Great fun, but as you say, SOOOO time consuming.

Now I just need some dashcam from my Zed if I can get back home. Rumour is, end of next week Dubai gets added to the skybridge. Its only the UKs14 days quarantine thats stopping me. At the moment its fly home, stay home, look at the Zed but you cant drive or even ride in it.

I think I've just defined Purgatory ...

But I'll look out for your next video !
