am seriously thinking of taking the plunge and buying a z3 3,0
i have one in mind
fearing it may be slightly overpriced for the market
what should i be paying
prices are all over the place
any advice much appreciated

:welcome: to the Forum from West Cumbria. Outside the ///M models the 3.0 commands the highest price, appart from the obvious 3.0 engine it was built in fewer numbers with a shorter run so this is reflected in the price. I wouldn't worry to much about mileage if there's evidence of good maintenance, buy more on condition. Without pics/mileage etc it's difficult to tell but they can and do go for £7k+.

Just looked on Autotrader, the first page went from £3.3k > £12k. A £12k car should be top drawer underneath as well as on top. Watch for corrosion on the rear beam and trailing arms, £1500 from BMW new, a side.
