Just bought my first BMW - a 2001 Z3 2.5i Roadster, with 42,000 miles, in great mechanical, body is in pretty good condition. Put some Goodyear Sport Eagle tires on it before I drove it from Denver to Southern Indiana (home), it is a dream to drive. I'm trying to get used to the forum, I've done several searches for issues, and will be posting questions.
Currently having issues with battery dying, seems to be related to putting a car cover over the vehicle. Pretty sure that the guy I bought it from got it at auction, so there was only one key and no manuals - Aargh! A kind soul has already gotten me a PDF of the overall manual, and another for the audio system, I've ordered a couple keys from the local BMW dealership.
Looking forward to participating in this forum, including sharing knowledge when I get to a reasonable knowledge base.
