Newbie in Shropshire

Hi everyone,
Thought I had already posted an intro so apologies if this is a repeat. Recently retired living in shropshire
Not owned a Z3 previously - hoping to buy one soon - looked at 8 so far over the past month, but none of them were for me - often the pictures and description don't quite check out when viewing the car.
Have a budget up to a max of £6-£7k

Hoping to view another soon - have seen this warning light / clock and have no idea what it means - little clock above the service count down.

Aside from the welcome that's a decent amount to get a well sorted Z3 outside the 3.0 and ///Ms. Irrespective of how "good" it's portrayed your best off leaving a slush fund as these cars are well over 20 years of age so unless you've got documentary evidence of stuff having been done or you can see it you'll need a few £££s for things like the cooling system, VANOS (6 cylinders), bushes etc.

Oh, Cosmos Black ones are the fastest, apparently

from me in Hertfordshire. I would check the MOT history. There are a lot of advisories over a number of tests that have not been addressed. I found out to my cost when I purchased a Z3 in March on an auction site.
