Hi, just joined the forum after purchasing a 1998 1.9 Z3 roadster last week, 157,000 miles and still nice to drive. I live in the South Cambridgeshire area and am looking to enjoy days out with the soft top down as well as attending to mechanical upgrades/replacements as time allows (brake discs and drivers seat bushings to name but 2). Regards Trevor

Hello and welcome to the forum. Brakes refurbishments are relatively easy jobs for a DIYer and relatively inexpensive too. New seat bushes are another cheap fix too. It's nice to see a car that's been used too, there are members on here in USA with twice the mileage on their cars so with a little luck, you're good for another 150k

Hi, thanks for the good news regarding the mileage potential of these cars . Just remembered that the steering wheel flutters a lot on uneaven road surfaces so roll bar end ties and other steering bushes to be looked at and replaced too.
