Morning all, thanks for membership approval on the forum!

I’m Dave, located in Leeds, Yorkshire, UK and recently acquired a 36,000 mile 2001 2.2 Z3.

Very much looking forward to participating in the forum and hopefully some meets / events.

Gave the Z3 a quick wash off and fitted replacement number plates before a ride over to “The Motorist” near Sherburn, North Yorkshire for the weekly Sunday Cars & Coffee meet. Nice selection of vehicles as always. Highlights for me were a lovely Monza 3.0 and lightly modified E30.

Next Sunday I understand there‘s a BMW themed gathering if anyone is nearby and fancies a ride over!

Sunday 21st April from 10am its a gathering of BMW / MINI / Alpina from around the East, NE and NW regions. All welcome we have a number of reserved spaces on a first come basis

Great day last Sunday at the multi region BMW gathering. Been tidying up the car and giving the interior a good clean and leather feed, treated interior plastics with Autoglym vinyl and rubber care. All good so far just need some sunshine or at least dry weather!

Unexpected free day yesterday and clear skies resulted in a ride out to the East Coast for a seaside walk, excellent carvery at Hornsea Garden Centre and finding another Z3 parked up in Skipsea. Coincidentally another Reading registered car with the “DP“ letters on the registration. Great drive out with only some light rain showers for a change on the way home!
