Happy Easter everyone.

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction or let me know what I've done wrong.

I finally got round to reprogramming my alarm key fob yesterday, what a pig of the job it is, I followed this guide https://zroadster.org/articles/3g-ews-r ... amming.24/.

My key fobs were recognized, I slid the hidden switch back the key fobs did not work, but the alarm activated and I cant deactivate it. I left the battery disconnected overnight hoping it would reset but when I hooked it back up this morning the alarm went off.

I'm left with my Z3 not usable can anyone with a little knowledge point me in the right direction.

Has the slider gone back over fully - I had the `not working' problem initially albeit without alarm sounding - I think I mention this in the article.
You can turn the siren off temporarily using the castellated key if you have one.

I would suggest you repeat the re-programme procedure if the above does not work.

Finally got the key fobs reprogrammed.

I had to dis arm the alarm with the BMW code using the ignition sequence as shorting the pins on the alarm control module was not working.

A fiddly job finally done.

Its been like being back in the 80's having to use a key to lock/unlock a car door.

Thanks for the help and advice

I always lock and unlock my car with the key even though my key fob works ok. Can't explain why I do it
