Newb 2.8

Hi guys,
My name is David and I'm an alcoholic.
Maybe not, but I have just bought a z3 a few weeks ago, so joined a few forums, not sure which one is the best.... Yet!
Got my hands on a 1998 Arctic silver 2.8 with red leather and pretty much every option.
Also came with a silver hardtop and the guy even threw in a winch he used to lift the roof off by himself in his garage!
Got a few plans for the little lady (unnamed as yet).
So far already replaced the headlights, gearstick and the bung from the base of the aerial.
Few little problems but nothing that stops the huge grin on my face every time I drive her!
If it works ill try attach a few pics of before and after new lights.
She is currently in a garage getting the wheels done while I'm away for the week.
Based in SUNDERLAND btw, if anyone else is in the northeast say hi

good man, where did you get yours from? will have to meet up one weekend, infact, my cousin rang me earlier told me about a car meet at the metro centre next Wednesday ill probably be going to that if you fancy it?

Went down to Liverpool on Saturday, was a good drive back Took £43 to fill it up used half a tank and returned approx 39 mpg so happy with that.. Yes could be up for the meet, remind me closer to it as I have a memory like a gold fish
