Good afternoon,
I bought my Z3 2.5i last August from a couple who bought it in Arizona. I have always had Brit sportscars (Triumphs) and have a TR6 I am refurbishing now. Being in my mid-sixties I decided that I had to have an operable, reliable roadster now and not in the future and found this Z3. I am totally in love with this car. So much so, it is making it had to finish the TR6. I had a high school teacher who is a BMW aficionado who always kidded me about the Brit junk I drove. He stopped by last fall when he saw the Zed in my driveway and couldn't resist telling me it sure took you long enough to get smart.

I'm about 50 miles north of Madison Wisconsin and anxiously waiting for the temp to rise and the snow to go away. My Z spent it's life in Arizona and has never seen salt and here in Wisconsin the roads are white with salt most of the winter. So, it is garaged from about late October to about April. The Zed is in great condition except for splits down the center of the leather bottoms of the sport seats. Has anyone replaced the leather on their seats? I like to do as much of my own work as possible, but I like to have an idea what i'm getting into before hand. Thanks to all for the welome.
