Hi, I have recently acquired a 1998 Z3 and in the process of tidying it up. The alloys are the original pepper pot ones I think and are in need of some TLC. I'm not sure whether to replace them or get them refurbished so I would be interested to find out from others if they think I should keep the old ones to maintain the original look or change them for some newer and more modern ones. Thanks - Gavin

Hi Andy, thanks for you note. I have to say your Z3 looks fab and the wheels amazing! I'd love to replace the side vents on mine with chrome ones like yours but struggling to find them on the internet. Are you able to recommend a stockist please? Thanks Gavin

Hi Gavin. Thanks. Try this link under the sales section:

Failing that @spurs fan in a coupe may have some. Others will be along shortly who may also be able to advise. Hope this helps.

Oh, got any pics? We do love Zed pics

Hello @gavin johnstone welcome from Truro. I quite like the pepperpot wheels, they are not very common

Andy what size are your wheels and are they wider at the rear?

Regards Bazza
Hello Bazza

Yes mate they are staggered 225/35/18 front and 255/40/18 rear.

Not sure why fronts are 35 and rear 40, these were the tyres that were put on.

Yeah, good fit but don't rub either. Tramlines a bit but maybe the cheap tyres on the rear. "Sunny". Too much tread to change just yet though it could be other reasons that I've yet to identify.

Thanks for the welcome! That's part of my dilemma, they do appear to be relatively rare so should I keep them.
It's really what ever flicks your switch, be boring if we're all the same. Something to be said for an original unmolested car.

I had my wheels refurbished to oem colour, want to keep it as standard as possible.

I think there are varying tyre fitments on a staggered set up Andy. I will have a look at my two and see what they have.

Tony.

ps. Hi Gavin and welcome from me here near Lincoln. Enjoy your Z what ever wheels it has,
