A week ago I heard a near neighbour was selling their 2000 2.0i. An impulse purchase, but after deciding not to go ahead with purchase of a TR6 long ago, insurance and no off-street parking, then work, house refurbs and family intervened, plus a string of company cars, but concluded last Monday that if I didn’t buy it, I’d never own a sports car. Now it’s sitting in my garage, far from perfect but still with MOT. 70k, been very little used in past 5 years. Lots of questions that I hope someone can help me with, such as which code reader is best, and as it’s got both odb1 and 2, are they accessing difference info?, how do I enter the radio code, it’s says wait; and is it sensible to replace all fluids as I suspect it’s had minimum service. And I know one call was replaced 2 years ago, no issues on last MOT 45 miles ago.
but that’s more about the car than me - I used to do all my own maintenance but it was only on 60s cars, then they got a bit complicated
in Forest of Dean near Chepstow, and sort of retired with a lot of voluntary work
