2000 2.3 Roadster. 12k miles. 13.7k now. Picked it up in June. Paint issues and the dreaded 1188 & 1189 codes. Replaced Intake Air-boot. It had a gaping tear in the smaller hose. Bit of a trick removing and installing. So far so good on no code. Many of the posts talk of poor performance, it's a little weird but has ran ok from time purchased. Taking it on its 1st real distance trip next weekend.
Have dreamed of owning a Z3 since I visited Factory in Greenville/Spartanburg area in 2000. Some dreams come true.

Hi Grif? and welcome from me near a very cold Lincoln, UK. I’m guessing you’re in the southern states?, we have a home in Kissimmee Fl. I keep promising myself a visit to Spartanburg one of these fine days.

Tony.
