New Z owner

[Fred the Z]

Hi all,
I have been a BMW owner for years but have only just got a Z this last month. My brother in law (Ed the Z) has had one for sometime and has encouraged me to get one. I have to admit, it is the best purchase I have ever made. It didn't cost a lot and is my second car but I have it out everyday. My other car is firmly locked in the garage until the worst of winter comes our way!

What I like the most is the experience of driving 'Fred the Z'. Roof down at every opportunity with a great big smile on my face, watching miserable commuters going to work in their boring family cars!

My 'Fred' is not perfect and needs a few bits doing to it but by god does it give me a smile every minute I'm driving it.

I hope, along with Ed the Z, to meet some of you in the future to share stories and smiles

We did this last year but this year we have added a 40 mile run round some local country lanes.
