Welcome aboard and congratulations on your purchase, I hope you love your zed as much as we love ours.
There's nothing wrong with a 1.9, it's still plenty of power for a little car.
This is a great forum for anything zed related and we even have a chuckle about less important things from time to time.

Oh and we like plenty of pictures, it's the rules.

Hi All,

I'm in the Worcestershire area and I was wondering if anybody knows of good chip removal company at reasonable prices that can fix this on my door?

Cheers,

Rich

Welcome from Hertfordshire, hope your Z lives up to your expectations. As has been said the M44 can give a good punch. Have a good look around all the rubber hoses, air intake, throttle body to start with & check for splits. Cheap & easy to fix

Out and about on Thursday parked up by the river before having a little drive. Just deciding whether to go for the original wheels or keep the E36 Sports Alloys any thoughts fellow Zorgs?

Things like wheels are definitely a matter of taste. What style are the standard wheels

These are the other wheels I really like the sports wheels however I also like the car to be original. I have not seen the other wheels on the car yet.

I had a small scratch right at the bottom of my drivers door on my 320d, barely noticeable but I knew it was there. Anyway I got in touch with the local Chips Away guy who came along and had a look and promptly said he would spray the whole door, WHAT!!! I thought he was joking. I said to him it's not a big scratch (only about 30mm) and you want to paint the whole door out in the open, that would stand out like a sore thumb compared with the rest of the car. NO THANKS. That's my only dealing with Mr Chips Away.

They wanted £230 plus vat to fix it rubbing down and respraying the area or £65 plus vat to fill and repaint using a brush...
I can buy a second hand door for £80. I need to have a look around before making a decision...
