We bought ourselves this a couple of weeks ago and just waiting for some drier weather to do a few jobs just needs a bit of TLC. The pictures are from when we bought it and not had time really to take any photo's at home yet.

Anybody around Coventry Leicester?

Brian

Welcome Brian4 :ymhug:

Lovely looking Zed you have there... Plenty of owners around your area, keep your eyes peeled and give them a wave when you see one!

Hi Brian

Big Zed welcome from me, welcome to the forum. I'm up in sunny (well wet Lancashire) but lots of
other members will reply soon and there are likely to be some from your neck of the woods.

Welcome to the world of Zedding - you'll love it, be sure to get to any meets you can, we're all a
friendly bunch and it's great to see lots of Zeds in a convoy s:D

Now Brian - don't go getting into bad habits.
It doesn't have to be sunny [-x
So long as it's dry, get the roof down - day or night
You might need hat scarf and gloves with the heater on full - but it's great B-)

Welcome to the mad house. I am not to far. Not only do you not need sunny weather you also dont need it warm to get the top down. We had ours down when it was -8 last January. just get out and enjoy it.

I totally advocate the top down theme going on here but little word of warning in case you're not aware.

Don't drop the top if it's really cold until you're sure your rear window has "warmed up" plastic will crack #:-s

It's amazing though, being wrapped up on a cold dry day, top down... heater on.. and if you're like some posh people on here
with your heated seats on (I put a hot water bottle at the back of me :D ) only joking.... but it's a thought :p

Be prepared for strange looks from other motorists who just don't get it.... that's coz they've not got a Zed :D

Hi Brian. I'm in Glenfield just off the M1. Where are you? Only acquired my Zed recently and haven't used it much yet but hope to rectify that next year.

Regards

David.

Well thanks for all the advice and as I was cleaning the seats today I put the roof down and then decided to go out. Got some good looks around our village but that is what it's for.

I would just like to add a welcome form me (another new comer) I have already found that they are a great bunch on here and actually make you feel really welcome. I have to admit I am looking forward to the Zfest in July where I hope to meet up with a few and get to put some faces to names.

Welcome and I love the lights! s:mrgreen I have the old ones :(
