I have a 2001 Z3 2.5 L and just joined to get help on the maintenance.
Hi @Lupersio, and welcome to the forum from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. Everyone will want to see pics of your Z. The Brits call them Zeds but we're still talking about the same thing. You've joined a great forum here. There are many members that have the same car as you and there is always an answer for any question that you may have so you can ask away. What part of the US do you live? We have several members of the forum in the US and Canada but we're really spread out. Most of the members of this forum are in the UK, which by land mass is slightly more that twice the size of the state of Pennsylvania so by our standards, they're just crawling over each other. (Just wait to see what the guys on the other side of the pond come back with when they read THAT statement!! Uh Oh!!) Aside form tech stuff about cars, we're ALWAYS having a lot of fun here. You can't believe what a crazy bunch we are here. I went over there to visit them twice and a good friend whom I stayed with a few days over there whose forum name is @miller1098, came over here to help me drive a Z across the country from San Diego to Jersey. He was eating Philly cheese steaks an hour after his flight got here. Had to break him in properly...........
So, once again, anything that we might be able to help with, just ask. Frankie
A pic posted from @miller1098 trip, first day..........

First recorded evidence of Hugh arriving in the US of A. Frankie told me he was going to make sure he had a cheese steak while he was over - that didn't take long :)
