When engine is cold, turn on headlights. Car dies. When engine is warm this doesn't happen? It's done this since she got it.

Scanner showed crankshaft position sensor. I've changed it twice from 2 different suppliers. In case one was bad. Code still there.

Did you buy the crank sensor from eBay or similar? How much did it cost? It is recommended to buy from BMW or at least OEM quality.
