New to the forum and to a Z3!

Hello to everyone,
I haven't actually got my Z3 yet as I am purchasing it from a very good friend who has an enviable stable of lovely cars. He's not using the Z3 much so has offered it to me at a very fair price. It is a 2.8, T registered in Oxford green with matching hardtop with 72000 miles on the clock. The reason I don't have it yet is that I am having to sell a car to free up garage space. In the past I have owned an E30 318 Touring as well as a BMW R100R motorcycle, both of which I loved. So it will be nice to be back in the BMW fold.
Any advice on owning the Z3 would be gratefully appreciated.
