Hi all,
Just joined Zroadster, after having owned a Z3 since August of this year.
I am an Automotive Engineer that has been into beemers for a while, and thought I'd buy myself a retro-classic as a toy. Needless to say, I was very particular about which Z I wanted and bought myself a 1999 2.8 Z3.
Since purchase, I have overhauled the cooling system added a strut brace and swapped the manifold to an M54B30 one. The car overall is in reasonable shape, however I will slowly but surely be restoring the odd bits around it. Over the next year, I will be upgrading the suspension, upgrading the exhaust to stainless, and restoring the body work. I will be seeking, and hopefully providing, advice on the numerous forums here about the Z3
.
Here's a couple of photos of my Z sitting on its e46 MV1 wheels. Love it.
