New Steering Wheel

Look what arrived today.

Conversion from the standard wheel to this was not too difficult, just need a steering wheel, airbag and you can use your existing slip ring. Took 20 minutes including removal of old one.

Airbag is filthy and will need a clean- which I ought to have done before installation but I was really very excited to fit the wheel.

P.S anyone ever fitted a replacement emblem to the airbag?

Looks great. Put a carbon emblem on mine, just sticks on top of the old one.

@oldcarman Jim, I've had autocorrect change my name to Fahrenheit several times over the years.

It's black with perforated sides and nappa leather at the top and bottom. Bottom has also been rebounded to a flat style.

I fitted a "carbon" style one on my Z3 Faheem, easy job. That wheel is looking right at home with the new seats buddy. Like it !!
The old "badge" is a thin metal and is stuck on, or mine was and the new one fitted the same way.
