Great pictures...with interesting comments on moving back to the Run flats.

I'm really only noticing the tramliing on a 4 mile strech of my daily commute .i.e on a road that does get used by many heavy agricultural vehicles (all shapes ans sizes of tractors !)...however it is pretty unnerving

I don't have runflats any more, they were binned this week in favour of the Winter tyres, sorry if I didn't make that clear. I never liked them due to the harsh ride and noise, all of which is now gone. Absolutely agree regarding road surfaces used by heavy agric. traffic, Lincolnshire is a very agricultural county also many of the UKs roads are in a very poor state of repair due to government spending cuts over the previous few years.
It can be alarming when suddenly your car gets all twitchy for no apparent reason, and this is accentuated by worn suspension rubbers (if the car has done a lot of miles). I replaced the "lollipop" bushes on mine with a Poly type bush and this made a big improvement. I'm sure @Paul Rice has too.

Tony.

ps. The tyres I fitted on the 108s were Hankooks which were recommended by @Bozzy and @Mint who have them on their Z3s on 17" wheels.

Yep Poly bushes and Kumo non run flats all round on 18's. My car had odd tyres all round definite No No for me, the bushes were OK but the Polys tightened things up a bit. Mine doesn't have the M sport suspension so rides a bit higher. Altogether very happy with the handling and ride.

New front springs and shockers also fitted

Winter tyres fitted last Saturday... more importantly removing the Run Flat Tyres for Non Run Flat has made such a difference...It's now like driving a completely different car...much more what I would expect a BMW to drive....Fantastic!

I didn't like the run flats either, with new winter tyres on the car is totally different. The same on Shirl's Eos too.
