Early evening all. So this afternoons mission was to change the original 2 and half inch rear speakers for some nice new pioneer 5 and a quarter ones..A tad easier said than done..Just getting the old ones out was a job but I have a big screw driver and a little muscle.Had to cut the hole wide enough for the bigger speakers to fit but overall got it all done in a couple of hours..new sound is brilliant as the mid range and bass is better.I am reluctant to change the head unit but probably will in the near future as I would like a nice big dirty sub as well..
yes yes im a 52 year old child!!
picture is not great as my phone camera is crap!..i would buy a new phone but I own a Z3,,better things to spend pennies on.

Looks like the new speakers have fitted in well. What have you actually fitted

Thank you. I'm looking to improve the audio quality I may give something similar a try.

Agree on the speakers. I upgraded my head unit and front speakers and tweeters, loads better. i didn't bother with the rears as felt they were too small to add much depth, A sub is what's needed but the space is simply not there for one of a decent size. In my daily driver, i have a Focal removal sub and the difference is night & day.
