Just ordered new sils from sopers bmw lincoln £135 each,i will be fitting these after summer, also the quarter front panels to,not that mine are bad but theres a bit of rust just below the paint on a small area.So shes getting a late Autumn make over.

Hi Pete,
We found with the sills and side panels that they didn't take too long to remove at all. One word of warning, behind the front wheels there are two plastic nuts each side, that secure the back of the wheel arch liner to the floor pan. Soak those well with penetrating fluid for several days, before you try and unscrew the plastic nuts. :ympray: Even though the nuts are plastic, the studs rust inside them and will break off, if you don't take care. In fact anywhere that you find one of those plastic nuts, there is a possibility that the threaded stud is rusty. #:-s :-l

soaked my nuts, still broke off.

If the Zed had been fitted with mudflaps from new chances are the sills wouldn't go rusty, they get peppered with stones over the years.

You can't resist after the blast around sandringham :D :coolsteer)

Thats very true Liam,i was gob smacked by your ace M at sandringham, and if i find one as good as yours i would be very happy, colour really is second to condition.

Yes condition is far more important than colour imho.. I originally wanted a black M but when I viewed this little Jem it was a no brainier....
Best of luck in your search Pete.. But I still think your green zed with thoses lovely wheels looks superb B-)
