I haven't been too active on the forums for a while. One of the reasons is I am building my new shed!

It will be 12m x 7m with 4m eaves. This is because I will be installing a 2 post hoist in bay #3. I don't really know what I am doing but I have a friend lending me his equipment and expertise. This is the pad and I am now ready for the formwork, finally.

I will be able to drive through the shed and up this back ramp to get access to the back of the house where I have a small shed which I will use for woodworking. There is a lot of area up here for vegetable growing - have to give the wife something in return right? Haha.

Will have 3 phase power just in case I need it, lights and power points everywhere, and the gate there in the distance will be automatic.

If anyone gets bored you are welcome to come over and assist me putting all the sandstone I dug up into the steel cage gabions!

Put the foundations for your 2 post lift in while you are at this stage. I don't know what the building regs are in your part of the world but here in the UK we need at least half a cubic meter of concrete under each post, (500mm deep x 1000mm x 1000mm wide) and use 250mm long bolts to fix it down.

That plot is bigger than most housing developments in the South East =))
They’d easily get 10 x 4 bed ‘executive’ homes on that
Looks like you have room for little handling test track there...not jealous, enjoy!

Did you consider putting in an inspection pit?
