Imho, bmw lost it with this version. Nice proportions, good rear view, but the front lights and all these triangle shaped air vents and the flat bonnet do not hit my soft spot.
a convertible supra would have made more sense.

I really like the new Z4, best Z4 so fa,r but still not as pretty as the Z3! The Supra would need to be a targa, not a full convertible...

The latest Z4’s are probably very capable cars, but not as pretty and certainly much bigger. I parked next to one a while ago.
