I prefer to work local tbh as i'v worked away in the past and not keen on it as it feels like you'r always at work. I enjoy my week ends especialy as summer's looming

Yes mate, the garage I worked at closed in 1986 so I bit the bullet and thought well at least there are some customers who know me so went for it. All good till 1992 when our youngest daughter contracted Leukaemia and the next 2 years took a lot out of us till she died in 1994. A couple of years after that we sold up to a young man who worked for us and I let someone else have the worries.I prefer to work local tbh as i'v worked away in the past and not keen on it as it feels like you'r always at work. Ah Tony i am sorry to hear about your daughter i can't imagine what you must of gone through. 1 of my cousins suffered the same thing many years ago and did'nt pull through. As a father of 2 girls and a son its always a worry where there health and well being is concerned. So are'nt you tempted to take a leap of faith again ? you'd have plenty of Z customers.

Ha Ha, working with a bunch who act like kids maybe helps there Steve. I had an overhaul at City Hospital (Notts) 8 years ago so I'm on a pigs heart valve now so I enjoy life as much as I can which includes 2 - 3 week stays at our villa in Florida each year to help unwind too. If losing our Carla taught us one thing, it was you're only getting one chance at this.

.A pig's heart valve...amazing. That villa sounds great,we stayed in Kissimee in a villa around 2008 for a holiday taking in the theme parks with the kids we realy enjoyed it cus they were the ideal age for it. Could'nt agree more with your quote Tony. Enjoy it mate..
It's a big kids play ground isn't it. The first time we went was in April '94, the Make-A-Wish Foundation paid for us all, Shirl, me and 3 kids to go the Disney World for Carla's wish, a very busy week, visiting all the theme parks etc. all expenses paid including spending money. Unbelieveable !!
Believe me if it was up to the missus we'd live there haha. Priced it up last year and could'nt believe how much it costs,we'd need about 9 grand !. Wow that must of been some thing when you all went in 94,its brought a tear to my eye. A freind of my 2 girls had cancer when she was 12,she's now 18 so of course she fort it off after months of chemo and treatments,it was touch and go for a long time. The same foundation took her and her mum to lap land all paid for and they also had her new pony trained up so as she could ride it when she recovered. Priceless.That's 7 years ago mate, time you went back.
