yep, I will make a simple acrylic back first and see how I get on with it, then will make a back the same as the old one, but this time the back will also be made from acrylic, mirror cost £4.50
I used a Nissan micra mirror, a lot lot smaller than the brick size standard, but still see fine with it. I do like the oval one you have bought, should look the part when fitted
finished and fitted, i quite like the thinner look, i may keep it like this. will take a pic in the day light.
