Hi all

New member having just purchased a 1.9 Z3 1999. Total impulse buy but love it!

Live in village on Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire border so plenty of windy roads to have fun on.

Needed new front brakes but done myself with no issues.

Have a rough idle so will be asking for ideas. Also no engine management light on ignition? Is this normal? Was it an option or do I need to strip dash and check bulb?

Welcome to the club. Rough idle could be caused by numerous things, such as a split hose or a sensor

Thanks

I will look over hoses etc at the weekend.

If not I guess it's a garage to read codes to point in direction of which sensor.

Hello @Dobbo and welcome from Winchester.

You may find a forum member local to you who has a code reader. It will save you the hassle of going to a garage to find out any faults.

Have fun and enjoy your little Zed.

Hey Dobbo, welcome from sunny Florida. I live just across the Trent from you at Torksey Lock. We used to frequent the Railway at N.Leverton many years ago, I see they pulled it down when I had a run round from ours through your village and back from Gainsborough last summer. If you haven't got the codes read, I can do it when we get back.

Tony.

Hi and welcome from Canada! You have joined the best forum around bar none but you have also joined an elite group of 1.9 owners known as the MASSIVE named after the M44 engine in your car. @GazHyde could you please do the honor? JIM
