Welcome to the Forum, you have arrived at probably the best Z Forum for information and help for your Z3 or Z4 model.
Its also worth adding your location in on your user details so it appears in the left hand side of your posts or add it in as part of a signature together with the exact model of your car so you get answers to questions you post that are pertinant to your particular model and your location in the World since membership on here is Worldwide.
Also very worthwhile to arm yourself with a decent code reader to scan your car when faults crop up. You can either go down the laptop based software such as BMW INPA and BMW Scanner 1.4 or a handheld scanner like a Creator 310+ which is a good choice but not so good for models before 1999.
All available on ebay and Amazon for little outlay, they pay for themselves first time you have to use them when faults appear.
The Creator 310+ cannot reset Transport Mode on a Z4 despite it being in the tools menu however BMW Scanner 1.4 can reset it. Transport mode is quite a common fault that happens on Z4's when the battery gets low, the car turns off non essential electrics to conserve what power the battery still has, usual items to get closed down are Aircon, blower speed adjustment and heated rear screen. Resetting to Normal mode will restore these items to working condition as long as your battery is recharged or replaced.
