Just want to introduce myself, björn palm, owner of a BMW Z3, Coupé 1998. I had it for about ten years and use it only in the summers, in nice weather. The mileage is about 130 000 km. I have converted it to run on E85 and this works perfectly OK.
What is not OK is that I cannot open the trunk since a few weeks. At first I could open turning the key anticlockwise, but now that does not work either. Not possible to turn the key that way. If anyone has suggestions on how to solve this, let me know. I can probably get into the trunk by crawling over the seats, and perhaps it is possible to loosen the panel on the inside of the tailgate.
