Hello all,

I've recently purchased a 1999 Z3 2.0 back in February this year. Seems to be a little cracker having now done 6,000 miles during its time with me.

I am looking to lower the car and the reviews would seem to suggest that the Eibach Pro-Kit Performance Spring Kit E2062-140 is the best option, lowering the car 30mm front and rear. Has anyone fitted these before and can they offer any advice?

I would also like to fit spacers to fill out the rear arches. I have the standard 16inch wheels on and don't intend on changing them. Has anyone fitted spacers? If so, what size did you go for?

Many thanks in advance for your assistance.

Steve

Hi Steve, welcome from me near Lincoln. I have Eibachs on my Z4 running original shocks. My Z3 2.0 had a K&W coil over kit on it when I bought it. I fitted 20mm spacers on the rear and 14mm on the fronts. These now reside on my Z4. Where are you located please?

Tony.

Thanks for the welcome and advice everyone. A few further queries:

@t-tony, which manufacturer did you go for? Do you have any photographs you can share with the spacers to confirm the stance the 20mm and 14mm achieved? I'm based in London.

@andyglym, just to confirm, have you got eibachs and spacers fitted? It looks great with the MV3 alloys.

Hi mate, Bilstein B12 Pro kit with Eibach 30mm lowering springs, no spacers front or rear. Thanks.

Bought the spacers in the USA too long ago to remember, sorry. But there are many brands of “Hubcentric” type available.
