My name is Penny Wagner and I live near St. Louis, Mo on the Illinois side (don’t judge, lol).
New to the forum and first time Z3 M Roadster, 2002 oldie but goodie. Looking to learn all I can, good and bad. Thanks for the add.

Welcome Penny, these cars are pretty bullet proof and easy ish to work on. Although BMW quality 16+ years old rust can be a problem but mainly cosmetic. Outer sills and lower front wing get dirt trapped and rust also the rear wings can go on the leading edge. Mechanically once again very strong. Regular oil change as with any car pays dividends, Diff and gearbox oil would benefit on any cars approaching 100k miles. Any issues lots of knowledge on here so post any problems or concerns and sure help would be here to advise.
Enjoy the car but be warned they can be very addictive
