Hi, just introducing myself, I have just joined after picking up a 1999 pre face-lift z3, unfortunately it's been in a slight bump so I'm looking for a few parts, the main one being a headlight for the nearside. I will get some pictures today and add on the forum its a 1.9 model I'm based nr Southampton, Hamshire

Hi Mark, welcome. Likely your car is a twin cam? One of the best Z3 engines!
If not sure , post up an under bonnet shot.

Hello Mark, welcome to the forum. There are a couple of members here who break Zeds so you will have no problems getting decent replacement parts, that's unless you are going to fit new bits.

Thanks for the welcome. Here's a few photos of the poorly car, the bumper looks OK with just a scuff, I have taken it off to realign it, the bonnet has a couple of dents so may need one of these in the future, the steering arm is bent, but I haven't had a good look yet to see if any other bits are damaged. Everything needs a damn good clean, especially the interior but the engine sounds good.

Hi Paul, the one I need is a nearside one in the style of the attached photo. Cheers, Mark.
That's a shame not standard for the 1.9, been adapted or swapped at some time original fitment on 1.9 Amber. You will need to get one from a 2.8 or you can retro fit Clear lights it does involve splitting the lens their are how too's on the forum. If you decide to go for original you can have both mine for £80
