Hi Gaz,thanks for the welcome you will have to bear with me because Im new the Forum thing and Techno Stuff anyway a bit of History,Im 69 have owned my BMW Z3 Roadster for about a year its a 2001 2.2 done about 42000 miles,I think its a cracking car and really enjoy the way it drives and behaves,although originally I was a bit cautious about getting to invoved with repairs ect,after reading some of the aticles on your site I feel a little more enabled,IDo have an engineering background,I was an apprenticed motor mechanic and worked as a motor vehical engineer for the local Police Force but I left the Trade in 1998 due to family commitments and had a career change to work in the Lift Industry.Anyway brilliant site and very interesting and informative

Yep its been great cruising this summer,I live in Brighton on the coast and been to some good car meets locally mainly at cafes with those old American gas guzzlers all good stuff
