New member,long time bmw driver

Name's Rick, I've driven and restored bmws since mid 70's; recently picked up a "clutchless" 97 1.9. I now have it up and running. Unlike many, I absolutely love the 4 cyl with the 5 spd as it harkens back to the bmw 4 cylinder cars I started with. 30+ mpg is nothing to sneeze at either!
I've been a 5 guy most of the time but started with 02's, a 700 coupe, all the 3's, and a short stint in a 7. My current keepers are E28 and E34 M5's, a 2002 I've owned for 35 years, a 540, and a 3 convertible (I guess the Z is officially a 3 convertible too...)
