BMW Are obviously the easiest although likely to make the eyes water a little. I'm sure there have been a few threads on this recently, I'll try and find them later unless someone beats me too it!

BMW dealer remember to take photos I'D and a Utility bill don't forget the cars log book to.
From memory my new key cost me £150
Took about a week to receive and then you will need to program the new and old key to the car one after another

You can buy off ebayUK but will need to find a locksmith with the programmer. I only have one key and have found someone to program the chip. The key is only $35 but no price on programming it. I've bought a chipped plastic wallet key I'll get him to program and cut it and see how it works out. He charges BMW $450cdn which I think is a ridiculous price to pay for a key! JIM

For that price I would pay a bit more and buy from BMW
