read threads on the internet on hoods and looked at various companies...
eventually decided to go with Car Hood Warehouse as they would come to me (for a few ££ extra) thus saving me lots of petrol and work time! in fact the time working pretty much paid for the hood...
very pleased with the work done - van arrived at 7.15ish and they were done within 3 hours... lovely job and car has gone from blue with black hood to blue with a blue hood which I prefer!

fitted on Wed - alreadya bit dusty!

That looks really good and agree the blue hood does set the car off better. When you get chance can you take some closer pictures of around the rear window as I know this is an area people like to see more detail on as they like to know if it is a sewn in window or zipped etc.

How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking.

Thanks all :) I feel that the blue on blue works a lot better than black on blue... it always amazes me that manufacturers don't match the colours better... can't cost much different...
as so many are black - blue also looks a bit more special...

cost was iirc £590 (+£65 for them to come to me) the doing it at my house was very important for me as lost work time cost more than the difference between just doing the window & the whole roof...
happy to add photos of close ups - window is sewn in, but if there are any issues they can sew another one in - I wouldn't be unzipping and replacing anyway! let me know what you wish to see (though it is of course now dirty after a couple of long trips since!)

I am 10 miles north of Swindon (15 min from Junc 15 of the M4) Car Hood Warehouse is I think in Leatherhead, Surrey...
I would suspect that I am on the limit of their range - it is roughly 100 miles / 2 hours drive...

I think that the £65 is a standard cost...
the only criteria they specified were:
- somewhere under cover if raining (we had a very hot day!)
- if doing just window it needs to be at their place as they take off your hood and sew in the window - the sewing machines aren't in the van!

worked well
