Just joined the forum, Iv had my 2004 e85 Z4 3.0 In Toledo blue for nearly 6 months now after wanting to buy one for over 5 years.
Iv done a fair few things to the car in those 6 months!
Repaired the passenger seat motor with parts from a e46 donor seat (broken gear)
Replaced the turbine wheels for MV2’s currently on winter tyres
Replaced front bumper for a freshly painted one
Replaced front and rear mud guards for new genuine ones
I bought and fitted a hardtop in Toledo blue
Window wiper fault diagnosed and repaired (cleaned copper contacts on motor and replaced relay)
Roof motor serviced and relocated into the boot
I fitted a ZHP gear knob
And as of this weekend Iv changes the kidneys to black ones, fitted a stupidly over priced genuine BMW badge to the new front bumper and finally fitted an chunky M Sport steering wheel!
Things I’d still like to do to the car - is like to change the wheels to Ellipsoids and have the rear quarters resprayed due to corrosion / rust
