New Exhaust

Hoping to get my new exhaust fitted today , One of the jobs on the list for me and its christmas, my bonus has come in so i thought lets get it done.
The old one isn't in a real bad way but its one thing i look at and it doesn't fit my picture the pipes angle down and are small compared to the cut out.
Not looking for loud they are fitting a two box system cat back.
Have investigated having the stock pipes chopped and new ones welded to the box but no one can accommodate so biting the bullet.
Hoping it turns out how i want it , it will be louder but he has said it will not drone so that for me is an important bit.

I know it will be louder but he has listened to it stick and says they will do a twin box system so its one more than its got at the mo !!

All done they made a great job.
I didn't really want loud and in my opinion its not ...the wife said as i got home i heared you before i saw you .
I had a two box system fitted and its a nice full sound without it being loud in my opinion after all it is a sports exhaust it was never going to be as quiet but it has a nice tone.
Opted for staggered twin 3" pipes to go with the bend in the back bumper.
Have pics but will hopefully get a sound clip tomorrow.

Happy and a good price of 290

Yeah they tucked them in just nice the fit to the underside of the car is fantastic a great install.

I had it done by custom pipes in Doncaster the system is proflow the boxes internals are all spiral almost like they are rifled.

Nice looking and very reasonable price.

Is a nice job Roy no not had the chance to window open to here the car is very smooth with it fitted its very free flowing and pulls well every gear at 70 its just a low hum and the stereo on low kills it so all good.

I'll have to listen to it and if the radio isn't drowned by it then it might be the way to go as regards audio. Glad your happy with it cos it is a devil to get right and the fitters bless em don't always know how it will turn out.

Will get a sound clip tomorrow its certainly not a blurting exhaust it has a full sound through out the rev range with out ever distorting at all.
Have to say my worse fear was it would be too loud but he said it would be slightly louder than stock being a sports system but true to his word its not loud.
He advised they had some of the most quiet systems on the market but if loud is your thing im sure he could accomidate!

Had the car out to stretch its legs this afternoon have finally got round to talking a sound clip the first one i did was just to windy and its the first time i have revisited it.
The exhaust sounds fantastic on full chat looking forward to getting the roof down when its a tad warmer and im not full of cold but the car sounds how it should so all smiles....

Its cat back Steve they said it can be altered etc if the cats need replacing and they do do them but as i believe alls good it was cut just after the cats.
The price was good its a two box system and it was 290 all in took them about 3 hours .
