I've driven up to Custom Pipes to have a cat back exhaust fitted to me 2.8. I have this forum to thank for that.

Had mine done there and I'm really chuffed with it.
It's been on for a few months now and I've had no bother with things like the tail pipes burning the bumper,etc.
Also done a Scotland trip since having it fitted and there's no annoying droning noise at motorway speeds.
I just love how it sounds.

I wanted to get some shots of the z up in the air, but they were done so quickly that by the time I'd grabbed a coffee at the local shopping centre it was down.

It's loud, perhaps too loud? Is that possible?

Give it some time Jason,it's a big difference to the standard exhaust. Mine sounded like a milk float before, so at first I felt mine was too loud after having the new one fitted but it'll grow on you, as they say. Drive through a little village or a tight side road, so you get the exhaust sound bouncing back at you
.
How much did you gets pay, and for what sort options? I still have that on the list for mine!
Had mine fitted there no regrets love the sound worth every penny.

£300 for the one pipe one box system. It was made and one within two hours. I could have had twin pipes and two boxes, but the boy racer in me (I'm 43) just won't die.
What sort of cost was the twin pipes with 2 boxes as I would like the quad look.
Mine was £320 for the cat back,single silencer,twin tail pipes.

Yes and no. It does sound great and it feels like the engine is breathing better. Overall it's well worth the money.

Looks lovely. I'm digging those wheels. I have a set on their way to me, albeit in black.
