Which do you prefer 3 or 4
As an every day car it has to be the Z4, without a shadow of doubt. Having said that, if I had bought a 2.8 or a 3.0 Z3 initially, then to be honest I would probably never had a look at the Z4. I wanted something with more grunt, also I like an Auto so when I found this car at 13 years old and only 16,500 miles it caught my eye. I watched it on the internet for a good few weeks and wondered why it hadn't sold. So one day I rang the seller and made him an offer that made a deal and here I am with a Z4. Now approaching 35,000 at 15 years old.

No miles at all. Mine has 110000 on it but been serviced and looked after well by the 2 previous owners. Needs a few thing doing but not major I hope. Will do them a bit at a time.

That's always the best way I think. Enjoy the journey.

Hi and welcome from London. Good choice the 2.8 is a cracking car. Check the boot floor for popped spot welds this area is further back from tool kit. Bushes wear out at this sort of age. Thermostats fail and usually stick open so check temp gauge is bang in the middle. Rad fan fails also. What you after pre or post facelift?
Whatever my budget will afford me.

Prices are pretty much the same for 2.8s, so it's really down to choice. Slam, to be pedantic, there are pre facelift and facelift versions of the Z3. There are no post facelift versions! ..
