Saw this on a shelf in a customers stores today which led me to asking a few questions.
"Why do you need this, what do Woodpeckers do that's so bad?"
Apparently, down here in Cornwall and Devon, National Grid have a problem with Woodpeckers attacking rural sited wooden power poles, and rather strangely they don't seem too bothered what the poles are coated with either.
When they put a new pole up, Mr Woodpecker comes along and makes a hole in it. If the holes aren't spotted and plugged, Mr Woodpecker comes back and makes the hole bigger and eventually he'll move in and claim "squatters rights" and if it's during nesting season they can't be moved on.
