As far as I can tell, its still the OEM frame, its there design, material used and a different rear window.

@hard top, you're gonna have to spell it out for me and tell me how it looks any different.

@ 1.429 GBP to the Euro it it would be £657 sterling. Okay, still expensive but possibly worth it for the bigger rear window and other tweaks.

But at todays 1.135 its £827 sterling. I'll not be spending my dosh in Euroland any time soon. If I needed a roof I might however take the details to a UK roof maker!
You don't work in a bank do you. You keep saying [1.429 GBP to the Euro] it's [1.429 Euro to the GBP]!
Either way, can buy a car for a grand so not worth it unless it's a show car..

Now I kind of get why they are calling it a "Z8 Style" soft top.....

Just can't see enough of a difference to make it worth while. Only a Z3 anorak (if there is such a thing) would spot the difference, think I'd rather spend a lot less and go for the normal one. Would have a Z8 like a shot, but short of a lottery win that ain't going to happen.:(

Good thing I found this thread then. I'll be sending it back before it arrives ;)
Can't be dealing with crappy plastic windows again. Will probably have to renew the butyl seal on that too...
