Never Seen That Before

Someone is breaking a roadster on ebay with a set of sports seats that are covered in a mixture of leather and cloth - as per the title I've never seen that option before

Do we think these are original or will they ha e been recovered at some point?

Z tex immitation leather. Was standard on facelift 1.9i and 2.2i, but I suspect only fools spec’d new cars with that.

Personally though I do like the look of the pepperpot wheels on the pre-facelift M44 cars

My fools M43 has Ztex..one advantage of it is 20 years on it still looks brand new..no visible wear at all. Has a carbon fibre vibe to it. To be honest I never thought they did it on the sports seats though
