My nephew is looking at getting a Z4 (good lad), to replace his MINI.

Looking for a 2.0i (cheapest running costs, insurance etc) as new as as possible. Would look at any colour, but would prefer it not to be red/silver. Budget up to/around 7-8k.

So if you see anything suitable, drop me a line. He saw a cracker down the road from me, but it was sold when I went to look at it! Will be showing him around mine when I manage to get the keys back from my mate!

Thanks, Gary

There are lots on Autotrader at the minute and you can specify colour engine size etc and what's wrong with silver?

He has been looking at Autotrader, but the ones he has been interested in have sold pretty quickly. :(

As for not wanting silver, that's his personal preference. :-\

Away with such myopia! Do they not teach the Engish literary classics to our youngsters these days? To quote from George Orwell's Animal Farm...

"6 pots good, 4 pots bad"

:coolsteer) :)) :)) :)) :)) :))

Easy to say of course when one has entered the old fart phase of life when finally car insurance premiums are reduced to merely ridiculously expensive as opposed to being more expensive than driving into the back of every car that stops in front of you at a red light every day and settling the repair bill in cash on the spot. :))

Ebay 2006 pre-facelift model 2.0 in black £7,250

or a facelifted model 6 month younger with 35k fewer mikes for £7,990

midnight blue facelift £7,999

sterling grey pre-facelift £6,895

These are all dealer prices too so if you go private you should be seeing the same cars for around a grand less. There's loads at the moment if you are willing to travel for the right one!

Good luck to him I'm sure he'll get what he's looking for as long as he keeps his cool and walks away from the cars that don't light the fire in his belly.

I shall pass these on, and that last one is really nice. Personally don't like the wheels, but I don't have to look at them...

Thanks for the assistance.
