Need quick answer from someone, booking flight....

Not LGW it is south of London and will make your journey time longer.
LHR is Heathrow which is nearest London. To the left just on the ring road.
STN is Stansted which is nearest to East Anglia and as you look at the map slightly above London and to the right. STN would be my choice, but it depends what you're going to do with the stay apart from Silverstone. If you're heading to Wales it would be better to go from Heathrow.

I'm nearer Mike and Sandy and a long way from Miller. He's the other side of the country so the only meet up would be Saturday or Sunday. A weeks not a long time.

There might be another choice being East Midlands which is north of Silverstone and next to Donnington race circuit which I am sure you have heard of. Healthrow is probably your best bet as that is the uk's biggest airport so I would think it would have the biggest option of flight times/airlines to choose from.

Not according to the dates you posted above, 22nd July to Aug 4th is two weeks ie you would depart over a week after Silverstone should it be the 28th July !!
You might want to check what you have actually booked.

When I picked the date from the drop down calendar, the cursor must have picked up the day above the one I wanted and registered the day as a week earlier. If you guys had not seen that, it probably would have remained like that and I would have been screaming at the airport .loud enough for you to hear me over there. I changed the departure date to July 28th, Monday. Thank you again!!!!!!!!! Frankie
